What to Expect 🚀
This isn’t your average hackathon—it’s a hands-on crash course in building AI agents that work. Whether you’re new to agents or a seasoned pro, this is your shot to level up. CrewAI’s João Moura will be there in person to deliver a quick-start session, answer your questions, and guide teams throughout the weekend. Expect a room buzzing with energy, killer ideas, and the tools to make them real.
- Newbies: Never built an agent before? By the end, you’ll be a pro—walking away with a working agent you built from scratch.
- Veterans: Already an agent ace? Sprinkle in reasoning agents, fine-tune models, experiment with the latest multimodal tricks, or slap on a voice interface. Take it to the next level.
Note: our events are popular, and we are screening attendance. While you don’t necessarily have to have experience with agents per se, you should be able to produce running code and be a builder.

The Challenge: Build Practical AI Agents That Deliver
The theme is simple: build agents that solve real problems. AI agents get a bad rap for being overhyped and clunky—and let’s be real, it’s often deserved. But this weekends we set to prove the skeptics (and ourselves) wrong! You’ll create autonomous, collaborative AI teams that tackle tasks head-on. Think customer support bots that actually help, research agents that dig up gold, or workflow automators that save hours. João will be on hand to share insider tips on CrewAI’s platform and help you push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Judging Criteria
Your projects will be judged on:
- Practicality: Does your agent solve a real-world problem with style?
- Technical Mastery: Is your code clean, clever, and functional? Fully autonomous? Breaks new ground?
- Wow Factor: How far did you push the limits—did you add reasoning, multimodality, or a slick voice UI? Did you pull off things that haven’t been seen before? What % of the room’s jaw’s dropped?
This is an AI Tinkerers event, so bring your A-game—We produce running code at our hackathons, not hand-waves and slide decks.
