Former developer with a decade in technical software product leadership. The gravitational pull of AI coding tools sucked me back into active software development. My expertise is in backend & platform, scaled high-throughput systems, and all the anxiety about 9s, SLAs (+SLOs/SLIs), throughput & latency, cybersecurity, etc that comes with it. If you've ever had an argument about the realities of the CAP theorem, you're my people! I geek out about observability, telemetry, APIs, CLIs and human-machine interfaces in general.

I help run AI Tinkerers, a global network of people actually building with AI. Before this I led VC & accelerator partnerships at Deel, ran accelerator programs at Techstars, and co-founded YoungTech. These days I’m mostly obsessed with how we scale real-world builder communities

I’m especially interested in the next wave of agentic systems, context engineering, and AI-native product design — basically anything that helps models reason, remember, or act better in the real world. Always looking to connect with builders experimenting at the infrastructure layer (RAG, memory, orchestration, evals) and founders rethinking user interfaces for AI-first workflows. Also open to meeting developers, designers, and DevRel folks who want to collaborate.
