I’ll demo my side project, an AI-powered news summarizer, showing how it generates concise, high quality, summaries and intelligently recommends prioritized articles to read. I’ll discuss my few-shot prompting approach for summarization and a multi-criteria recommendation method evaluating article quality, longevity (durability of relevance), and category diversity (AI tools, research, policy). Additionally, I’ll share future fine tuning plans to enhance summary quality.
For where my project is now, I’d like to present at the science fair. Once I’ve gotten further along with fine tuning, I’d love to do a main stage demo.
